| Brinks is one of our star students. After completing our puppy imprinting program, Brinks is back for basic and advanced obedience. In this video, we are teaching the exact heal position. Notice that each correct position is marked followed by a reward. The benefits of starting a dog with puppy imprinting is that the dog not only learns how to work but it establishes a consistent reward mechanism increasing the dogs ability to learn. The consistent positive reinforcement also makes his work enjoyable and fun. Circle K9 recommends to start your dog's training as young as possible. Circle K9 starts all of our personal dogs at 8 weeks of age. The benefits can be clearly seen with Brinks who is now 7 months old. Great Job Brinks!!!! |
